SCO ups news coverage, revamps opinion section

The Scottish Catholic Observer now brings readers more news and leading Catholic voices each week and Facebook members can click 'like' on the Friends of the Scottish Catholic Observer wall for regular updates.

Starting in this week’s edition, the front section of the SCO offers nine pages of news. Moving the international and Vatican news section to the front of the newspaper allows for extended coverage of issues of interest to the Church and Catholic community.

In addition to more news coverage, watch out for new voices in our opinion section. Starting this month David Kerr, Kevin McKenna and Cath Doherty join Gerald Warner in bringing their insight to the SCO.

The newspaper still has readers’ favourite columnists and features but do not miss the recently launched weekly diary, the SCO pages through the ages feature and the new evangelisation and catechism column. All this for 90p.

And for breaking news and analysis,  in addition to the newspaper’s website, Facebook members can click ‘like’ on the Friends of the Scottish Catholic Observer wall for regular updates.
