6-MERCY-BUS

Hop on the Mercy Bus this summer

The Friends of Divine Mercy Scotland will be touring this bus around Scotland over the next month

The Friends of Divine Mercy Scotland will be touring this bus around Scotland over the next month, bringing Confession and a Catholic message to a high street near you.

Fr Michael Kane of St Augustine’s parish in Coatbridge will be offering Confession on the Scottish bus and said they hoped to ‘create a wee bit of enthusiasm for the Sacrament.’

“We want people to pop in, people who’ve maybe been away from the Sacrament, away from the Church for a while,” he said. “For some people the idea of coming to Church might be hard—this is a gentler way to reach out. It’s us taking the Church to the peripheries.”
