Manuela Camagni, one of the four memores domini— consecrated laity who help to care for the Holy Father—was killed last night in a road accident, Italian news agencies are reporting.

Peter Seewald (above), the author of the new book-interview with Pope Benedict XVI, showed visible disappointment that the text has been reduced by the media to a misrepresentation of a few statements on condoms.
