Scottish priest named first Catholic principal of the Armed Forces Chaplaincy centre

Honours goes to Mgr Andy McFadden of Paisley Diocese

Mgr Andy McFadden has been appointed principal of the Armed Forces Chaplaincy centre. He is the first Catholic to be given this top post, according to Bishop John Keenan of Paisley. Mgr McFadden (above) grew up in Gourock and was ordained a priest for the Paisley Diocese in 1989.
